Smart Prioritization

Act on what matters.

Feedal's AI scores every response across urgency, business impact, customer value, and churn risk — then surfaces the ones that need attention right now. No manual triage. No missed critical issues. Just a clear priority queue, automatically.

  • Scores every response 0–10 automatically
  • Weighs urgency, impact, and customer value
  • Routes critical issues to your team instantly
✦ How it works

From response to ranked priority in under 5 seconds.

No setup. No triage rules to configure. No manual reading. Feedal's AI scores every response the moment it arrives and keeps your priority queue accurate in real time — automatically.

  1. Response arrives
A customer submits feedback via any source — form, email, in-app, Shopify, or CSV upload. Feedal receives it and immediately begins the scoring pipeline. Nothing to trigger manually.
  2. AI scores across four dimensions
Urgency, business impact, customer value, and sentiment severity are each scored in parallel in under 5 seconds. The scores combine into a single Priority Score from 0–10 that reflects the full picture — not just how angry the customer sounds.
  3. Queue updates in real time
Your priority queue re-sorts automatically as new responses arrive. Critical responses rise to the top instantly. Low-priority responses are logged but don't demand immediate attention. Your team sees the most important thing first — always.
  4. Critical responses routed automatically
Responses above your priority threshold are routed to the right tool — Slack for urgent CS alerts, Jira for product bugs, Teams for leadership briefings. Set the rules once. Feedal handles routing on every response from then on.
✦ How priority is calculated

Six dimensions. One clear priority score.

Feedal's Priority Score isn't just sentiment. It weighs six distinct factors that together reflect what your team actually needs to act on — not just what sounds most upset.

Urgency Detection

AI identifies high-urgency language — escalating frustration, time-sensitive complaints, repeat mentions, and words associated with imminent action like cancellation or switching. Urgent responses score higher immediately.

Business Impact Scoring

Each response is scored on potential business impact — how much revenue is at risk, whether the issue affects multiple customers, and whether it relates to a core product or workflow. High-impact issues surface at the top.

Customer Value Weighting

A mildly negative response from a high-value enterprise account outranks a very negative response from a free-tier user. Feedal weights scores by ARR, account tier, customer tenure, and engagement history.

Churn Risk Flagging

Feedal detects language patterns that correlate with customers about to cancel — competitor comparisons, last-chance language, disengagement signals, and repeat complaints on the same issue.

Repeat Issue Detection

If multiple customers mention the same issue within a short window, Feedal detects the pattern and escalates all related responses. Four complaints in 24 hours become critical — automatically flagged as a trend.

Sentiment Severity

Not just positive or negative — but how severely negative, and in what way. Feedal distinguishes between mild dissatisfaction, active frustration, and expressions of broken trust. Severity contributes proportionally to the Priority Score.

✦ The priority score

One number that tells your team exactly what to do next.

Every response gets a Priority Score from 0–10. Scores above 8 are flagged as high priority. Scores above 9 are critical. Your team sees the number, the reason, and the recommended action — in the tool they already use.

  • Scores 9–10: critical, route immediately
  • Scores 7–8.9: high, address within 24h
  • Scores 5–6.9: medium, add to sprint backlog
  • Scores below 5: logged, no action needed
  • Custom thresholds on paid plans
  • Score visible in Slack / Jira / Teams
  • Full breakdown visible in dashboard
  • Score history tracked over time
✦ Who uses it

Built for every team that can't read everything.

When you're collecting hundreds of responses a week, manual triage is impossible. Smart Prioritization makes sure the right people see the right feedback — before it's too late to act.

Customer success teams

Never miss a high-value customer showing churn signals. Feedal scores responses by ARR and account tier so enterprise accounts with urgent issues always surface first — not buried under starter-plan responses.

Product teams

Stop triaging your inbox. Priority scoring ranks bug reports, feature requests, and UX complaints by impact and urgency automatically. Your Jira backlog fills with the issues that actually matter — in the right order.

Support and operations teams

Prioritise your response queue without reading every ticket. Feedal scores incoming support feedback so your team tackles the most critical issues first — improving resolution times and customer satisfaction.

Founders and leadership

Get a weekly view of your highest-priority customer issues — ranked by impact, not volume. Smart Prioritization turns hundreds of responses into a short, actionable list that fits into a 15-minute leadership review.

FAQ

Questions about Smart Prioritization.

Everything you need to know before you start.

How does Feedal decide what to prioritise? +
Feedal's AI scores every response across four dimensions: urgency (language intensity and time sensitivity), business impact (potential revenue or churn effect), customer value (account size, tenure, and tier), and sentiment severity. These scores combine into a single Priority Score from 0–10, and the highest-scoring responses surface first. Critical scores trigger automatic routing to your connected tools.
Does it work automatically or do I need to configure rules? +
It works automatically on every response from the moment you create a form — no setup, no tagging rules, no model training required. You can optionally fine-tune routing thresholds on paid plans (for example, always escalate responses from enterprise accounts scoring above 8), but the prioritization itself is fully automatic from day one.
Can I route high-priority responses to my team automatically? +
Yes. High-priority responses can be automatically routed to Slack, Jira, or Microsoft Teams based on their priority score. You set the threshold once — for example, send everything scored 8 or above to #cx-alerts in Slack — and Feedal handles routing on every response from then on. The score, reason, and recommended action are included in every notification.
How is this different from just sorting by sentiment score? +
Sentiment tells you how a customer feels. Priority scoring tells you which responses need action right now. A mildly negative response from a high-value enterprise customer might score higher than an extremely negative response from a free-tier user. Feedal weighs urgency, business impact, and customer value together — ensuring your team acts on what matters most, not just what sounds most upset.
Does it work on historical feedback data too? +
Yes. Upload a CSV of historical responses and Feedal runs the same priority scoring pipeline on your existing data. Teams use this to triage backlogs of unread feedback — finding the responses that needed attention most, even from months or years ago. It's one of the most common use cases for new customers importing data from other tools.
How accurate is the urgency and churn risk detection? +
Feedal's urgency detection achieves over 90% accuracy validated against human-labelled responses across 50,000+ test cases. It's trained specifically on customer feedback language — recognising signals like repeat complaints, competitor mentions, cancellation intent, and escalating frustration patterns that generic NLP tools miss. Churn risk detection is calibrated to produce very few false positives — your CS team won't be flooded with low-priority alerts.
